UV coating adds a high-gloss, professional finish to your custom business brochures, enhancing their appearance while providing added durability. This premium coating protects your trifold or bifold brochures, ensuring they maintain their quality over time and look polished and professional.
UV coating is a clear liquid applied to paper, either as a spot covering to highlight specific areas or as an overall (flood) coating. It is instantly cured using ultraviolet light, creating a finish that offers superior protection and shine compared to varnish or aqueous coatings. Unlike heat-cured finishes, UV coating releases no solvents into the atmosphere, making it an eco-conscious choice. However, it can be more challenging to recycle compared to other coatings.
Aqueous coating is a shiny, smooth finish applied in-line during printing as a flood coating. It creates a high-gloss surface that resists dirt and fingerprints.
UV coating, being thicker, may crack when scored or folded. Consider this when planning your brochure design.
Both UV and aqueous coatings add a touch of professionalism to your brochures, helping your business stand out with a polished finish. Contact us today to learn more!
